Hi All,
Less than two weeks left before the end of the pre-order discount 
period ends.
Order your tickets before the 31st of Jan to get a £2 discount.

A quick update on the IVFDF front for this year.
We have Venues,
We have Workshops,
We have some Fantastic Key Events,
We even have some Lovely People waiting
    to welcome you to this beautiful city.

However, due to various unforeseen circumstances we have been recently 
told that we are unable to use the union for sleeping.
We are working very hard to find alternative locations for people to 
sleep and are confident there will be enough space for everyone who 
needs it.  The accommodation will not be as convenient as we would 
like, the most common argument is fire regulations or insurance, but we 
are making sure it is all within 10-20 min walk or along major bus 
routes which have busses running hourly through the night.

If you want to stay within shorter walking distance from the main 
venues there is the cowgate youth hostel http://www.cowgatehostel.com.
Prices from £9/person/night

And the city centre travel lodge http://www.travelodge.co.uk with rooms 
from £70/night (up to double + single bed, but no limit to number of 
people)

These are both within 5 min walk from the main Teviot Union venue

If you have not already done so and will not be able to order tickets 
by the end of Jan, please could you get estimated numbers to us as soon 
as possible.  This will help us make sure that there is enough 
accommodation to go round.

Tickets can be ordered online using any major credit or debit card.  
Alternatively print out the application form (on the website) and send 
it to us with a check.
