Hi All
I am sorry to those who feel they are getting deluged with emails. There
are very few emails on this list usually, unless there are important
announcements to make and, at the moment, there are just a huge amount of
important announcements. It might be a good idea for the webmaster to
change the description on the website to more accurately describe its use.
I feel the following are currently all very important announcements which
need to be supported by discussion topics:-
1) Is IVFDF at Sheffield next year?
2) Who have Sheffield booked?
3) Where in Sheffield is it going to be?
4) Does the IVFDF Central Group support IVFDF in Sheffield?
5) Will Sheffield IVFDF succeed financially?
I am very pleased to be copied in to all the messages so that I am kept up
to date with current plans - which I must admit currently sound quite
exciting and I just can't wait for IVFDF at Sheffield to be approved and to
know, for their sake, that there financial predictions are secure.

The official description of ivfdf-news is "Keep up-to date with
announcements about IVFDF. This has a very small number of messages a
year".
Can discussion of the 2008 event be moved to something like
ivfdf-cttee or ivfdf-2008, and ivfdf-news be left the low-volume event
news list that it is described as at ivfdf.org? As a punter, I only
need to know the date, the programme, the location, the ticket prices
and how to book.
Tom
