[This message has been sent to IVFDF news and
direct to the named voting members of the
relevant societies so please excuse if you get two copies].

If you ave not been party to recent discussions
on the ivfdf-news list can I suggest you review
them online at *before* making your vote see
http://lists.ivfdf.org/pipermail/ivfdf-news/2007-May/thread.html
and http://www.ivfdf.org/Announce_mailing_list as
there have been recent postings by Sheffield, you
may also wish to delay your decisions by a short
time to see if the external advisors have
anything more to add to their previous comments.

Can I ask that each voting member responds DIRECT
to me at ivfdf-vote at ianthompson.me.uk (and not to
the list so that we keep traffic to a minimum) in
order to simply counting please use the following
subject line depending on how you want to vote

IVFDF Vote: One: <YES/NO> Two: <YES/NO> Society Name

So for example if I was a the voting member for
the Timbuktu Tango Society and I thought wanted
to vote for both proposals I would use the subject line
IVFDF Vote: One: YES Two : YES Timbuktu Tango Society
Clearly if I wanted to vote against the proposals I would use the subject
IVFDF Vote: One: NO Two : NO Timbuktu Tango Society
as you should all be university students I'm
sure I don't need to spell out the other permutations.

I hope that these instructions are clear enough
and that you do not require arrows to explain
where to cast your two votes - I have not tested
them before and they have not been approved by
the electoral commission ! (unlike certain recent
devolved nation ballots) Also as long as you have
made your intentions clear in either the subject
or the body of the message I *will* accept your
vote (I don't want any "spoilt papers" unlike the
recent Scottish elections with over 140,000 of 2
million or 3.5% of the vote spoilt).

You have until 02:05 on the 5th of June 2007 to cast your vote.

Regards

Ian
