[ivfdf-news] Group bookings reminder for IVFDF 2008

All,

Apparently various people seem to have missed the previous emails and
letter about this.

Originally were were going to do a straight cut-off on discounted
tickets for everyone on the 31st December but various societies asked
if we could extend this deadline because it was hard to organise large
groups over the Christmas period.  As a result we made the decision
that large groups would be able to obtain the discounted prices (i.e.
£14 & £22) until the 21st of January and sent out letters and emails
to the effected groups confirming this.

Unfortunately it looks like the message has not got through and rather
than leave people in a difficult position with regards to their
members we will extend the deadline one last time to the 31st of
January.

Please note all of this only effects group bookings (i.e. 10 or more
people) and is an exception to the pricing advertised on the website
and other publicity.  This does mean that for the next week it will be
potentially cheaper to book through your local folk society / group
rather than directly.

The advertised prices on the website remain £16 & £25, and this is
also the price you will pay on the door - although obviously we
encourage you to book in advance, especially if you are travelling a
significant distance!

I'm sorry for the confusion this has obviously caused and hope the
above will clarify things.
