This old IVFDF discussion list appears to have been a bit quiet of late, but you
may like to know that the IVFDF archivist and development officer have been
setting up a new way for us all to stay in touch.

Join the discussion of IVFDFs past, present and yet to come, at the brand new
online forum:

http://forum.ivfdf.org

As well as discussing the festival itself, the forum could potentially be used
as a way of keeping a dialogue going throughout the year between member
societies and other university folk clubs, their current or former members and
other friends of IVFDF; to discuss upcoming events and other folk-related or
unrelated topics, and to be a forum for people who may be interested in setting
up folk clubs where none exist at the moment.

There are separate forums divided into the six decades the festival has been
running. Have you any memories of your first IVFDF? What were the best bits?
What makes IVFDF unique? Help build up a shared archive of Britain's
longest-running folk festival!

Hope to see you on the forum

Gavin.
