[ivfdf-news] IVFDF 2015 - Exeter

Hi All,

 

Its that time of year where all right minded folkies thoughts start turning
towards IVFDF.  Its also that time of year where the stress levels for the
organising committee ratchet up a notch.

So, where are we at....

 

Well you should by now know the Venue - Exeter University,  and the dates
27th Feb - 1st Mar.

You might even know the line up of the main acts - which include: Nancy Kerr
Band, Tickled Pink, Blackbeards Tea Party, Panjandrum, Vertical Expression,
Kathryn Roberts + Sean Lakeman, Greg Russell, Buffalo Gals Stampede, Pigs
Might Fly etc etc.

All the usual events are covered - 4 ceilidhs, 1 Scottish Dance, 1 Contra, 3
concerts, morris tour, sessions, workshops etc etc.

 

Tickets are not quite on sale yet, but will be within a couple of weeks
hopefully - as is usual for Exeter, there will be no increase in ticket
prices from last year.

 

So.... now I have got your mind focussed....  can you help us...?  Its that
time in the planning when our thoughts turn to workshops and what a varied
and eclectic set we can offer this time around. So if you think that you can
offer a workshop then please do contact me as soon as possible with details,
and we will add it to the mix for consideration.  It can be dance or music
related, or even something completely off the wall that we haven't thought
of yet.
